EARTH TECH WINS SUSTAINMENT, RESTORATION AND MODERNIZATION CONTRACT FOR THE U.S. AIR FORCE CIVIL ENGINEER SUPPORT AGENCY

Five-Year Task Order Contract Includes Five Additional One-Year Options

LONG BEACH, Calif. –  June 24, 2008 – Earth Tech, a leading global provider of consulting, engineering, construction and operations services, has been awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) Sustainment/Restoration and Modernization Acquisition Task Order Contract  (SATOC) by the U.S. Air Force Civil Engineer Support Agency (AFCESA) to provide sustainment, restoration and modernization (SRM) design/build and construction services for the Air Force and other Department of Defense (DoD) agencies.

The ID/IQ contract has an ordering period of five years with five additional one-year option periods. The entire program has a potential ceiling of $4 billion over the 10-year period and the government can increase the contract ceiling to $10 billion if warranted.

Under this contract, Earth Tech will be supporting the Air Force with SRM projects that address airfield pavement and lighting, fuel systems, energy conservation for electrical and heating, ventilation and air conditioning, power plant improvements, life safety and building-code upgrades, roofing systems, and anti-terrorism/force protection projects.

“This contract is a result of Earth Tech's excellent track record in delivering high quality results to the Air Force and other DoD agencies,” said Bill Webb, Executive Vice President of Earth Tech. “Our long-standing relationship with Air Force agencies, such as AFCESA and AFCEE, are among the finest examples of partners working together to meet Air Force operating challenges and objectives.”

The SATOC program is a new contract specifically awarded to address SRM needs by the Air Force. Previously, the Air Force was using other contracts, such as the Air Force Center for Engineering and the Environment (AFCEE) Worldwide Environmental Restoration Contract and Design/Build Plus 03 — contracts which were also held by Earth Tech to address SRM needs.
